We offer classes every Saturday, Monday and Thursday evenings on the Sweet 16 sit down, Sweet 16 Little Foot, 10 foot Avante and 12 foot Avante. The class is 2 hours and includes all supplies.

Use a minimum of sewing to create your own place on the beach. This finishes as a 21" square. I will be providing two fabrics for the seagulls, the sailboat fabric, and the seashell beads.

The class will meet every two weeks to learn the skills of a new block. There are 12 categories with a range of skill development and then 3 levels within each category. So you will cover traditional patch blocks, modern free form blocks, curves, flying geese , foundation piecing - you get the picture. The class will be concluded with you putting the blocks into a quilt or project of your choice. you can come to which ever class you wish - all or just a few. The dates are: Jan 16, 30, Feb 13, 27, Mar 12, 26, Apr 9, 23, May 7, 21 & Jun 4 and 18 from 9:30 to 12:30.

The 11 3/4" square blocks in this quilt are fascinating to make! The cut-and-turn method creates the intricate pattern without having any tiny pieces to sew.

This pattern developed by Eleanor Burns creates a double pinwheel block without having to precision piece the smaller pinwheels. There are pinwheels spinning in two different directions which are usually seperated with one spin in the body of the quilt and the other spin as the border.

You will be painting fabric for the sky and snow, then thread painting the pine trees. This is done on a regular sewing machine with the requirements stated below. The background of trees and mountains are fused in place then machine stitched for texture.

This table topper is approximately 42" wide and is made with a 60 degree ruler and a border print fabric. You could also use this as a center medallion in a quilt. $20 per class. The class is currently full, but there is a waiting list for 2016.
