Make your own collection of daffodils in vases on a shelf to enjoy all year long. The daffodils are three dimensional with beads in the centers. There are seven flowers and five vases. This finishes at approximately 20” X 25 1/2”

Finally a wall hanging where you can change the pictures whever you wish! The directions for this wall hanging are for either four block or nine block quilts that will hold 4" X 6" photographs. The four block finishes as a 22" X 26" quilt and the nine block finishes at as a 30" X 36" quilt. This would make a great wall hanging for a child's room, or make it for a baby or wedding present, or a reminder of a special trip. Your choice of fabrics will make it truly unique. You may want to consider adding buttons as a decoration.

This carefree jacket that has a self-faced front opening, can be made with either a 3/4 length sleeve or a full length sleeve. You can choose the finished length of your jacket. this is a great project in beginning garment construction.

Each month we tackle one of EQ's amazing abilities and design a virtual quilt or two as we learn. Students are welcome to jump in to the group at any point with extra help available as students work their way through the lesson's handout. Color and design tips are included as we create amazing virtual quilts while learning how to use EQ7. Lessons are planned to be frustration free and lots of fun! We will l be spending the fall months studying color and exploring how using EQ to expand our use of more facets of color can increase the beauty of our quilts.

You can then rent the machines to quilt your own quilts instead of trying to bunch it up under your home sewing machine. The Pro-Stitcher Class - here you learn to use the computerized program to quilt your quilts, specifically the drag and drop feature, $60 for 2 hours.

Every Monday at 9:30 unless we are closed due to a holiday. Come join this dedicated group who make quilts for families who have experienced a tragedy in their life, for the homeless and for those who have served our country that have come home and are struggling. Their quilts have been given to children who have deployed military parents, children with cancer and women and children in shelters and the elderly in nursing homes. The group not only serves our community here in RI but has sent many quilts to victims of devastating hurricanes and to our wounded Military men and women in Afghanistan US based Hospitals.

Come in any Thurs 5:00 to 8:00. Bring in whatever your working on. If you need help with any sewing project Sue, who has a wealth of sewing knowledge, will be here to help with any problems..or just come in to sew and socialize with others of like interest. It's a fun way to stay connected!

This quilt is designed for beginners who have taken the basic level quilt class. It measures approximately 60” X 60” and features a fabric that you really like in the larger squares.

What a fun design but let Keri take the fear out of the curves. this is the first in her learning to master curve series.....following the creative technique in "a new spin on Drunkard's Path". There are two segments to this class. You can make any size quilt you wish.

This project of birch trees in the fall is offered in two sizes: 25" X 27" or 45" X 49". Please let me know which size you will be doing so you get the appropriate supply list. This quilt is a varation of Twists and Turns, a pattern in the winter 2016 "qulity" magazine. The pattern makes me think of the links in a chain link fence. You can make the quilt with just four colors for the links (The picture of this quilt will be added soon.) on a white or print background (64" X80") or you can use up to 26 different fabrics - think "stash" - for links on a neutral background (64" X 64"). Learn to make the four patch squares using a time saving strip piecing technique. These are alternated with a square of your featured fabric for an interesting quilt. This pattern creates a quilt that is approximately 51” X 57” however we will adapt yardage requirements for any size you wish.

This pattern is in the book More Twist - and - Turn Bargello Quilts by Eileen Wright. I made the sample with 2" wide strips rather than 1 1/2" and increased the width of the rows in the chart on page 42 by 1/2" each. So the sample quilt with two borders finished at 62" X 67". I increased the size of the quilt to make it easier to work with the pieces. You will not be using pins while sewing the bargello except to label strip sets and rows. Learn how to make the Big Island Blossom block, a modern interpretation of traditional Hawaiian quilts. In this workshop, you will learn how to prepare the applique (including folding, cutting and basting) and how to apply the motif using needle-turn applique techniques. Learn how Sheri designed the block so you can design your own templates for future projects. We will also review quilting tips and traditional Hawaiian quilting resources. By the end of class, students will have most of the block (finished size: 32 x 32 in) basted and will start practicing needle-turn applique.

Kim's BOM will be held on the 3rd Sat of each month and runs for 12 months. On the 3rd sat of each month a kit will be available for $25 and will include the pattern and original Batik fabrics for that months block. It will also include a demo and tips for the block. The last month will include quilt top assembly instructions, pattern and fabric for pieced borders, outer borders and binding to complete the quilt top. his 62" X 62" quilt is a varation on a Rail Fence block. The pattern appeared in the July/August 2016 issue of Quilting Quickly with the name Belle Prairie. The blocks are set on point with cornerstones in the sashing. Because this quilt is made with thirty eight 2 1/2" WOF strips, you may choose to use a jelly roll. If you purchase the jelly roll at Ryco, you will get $5 off the price of the class. You will need to divide the 2 1/2" wide strips into two color groups of 19 each. I used 19 cool and 10 warm colored fabrics from my stash. It is OK to cut two or three strips from the same fabric FULL There is a waiting list for 2018.
