This university is the dream of Mrs. Love.  Wee Children learn to sew with their  Mommy or Auntie or Grammy or Guardian.  Neither needs to sew for these series in fact if neither sews it becomes a great memory for both.  She has designed special projects that are simple and fun for all.  There are several series

 

This series is a 4 session class where we make a flannel teddy bear, then a nap quilt and , if time permits, clothes for the bear.  Open from age 4 until 2nd grade. They will be sewing supervised on machines and by hand,  tracing and cutting out a pattern, embroidering,  and more.  There must be one adult for each child.

Fee: $20.00 per student (guardian plus child equals one student)  If supplies purchased at RYCO.  Otherwise $40.00.  SIGN UP!

Supplies: For bear: 15” x 30” flannel, embroidery floss—red, pink, brown and black 24” each,  embroidery large eye needle, fiber fill stuffing, 2 coordinating fat quarters, buttons, 1/4 yd. 1/4” elastic, size 2 snaps.

Each Student may bring their own machine or use one of ours.  It is best to teach on their own machine.

Available on May 5th & 19th, June 2nd & 16th  Saturdays 10 to 12 ,

Basis Sewing Lessons—learn to measure for size,  prepare a pattern, read directions, cut and sew an article of clothing for yourself.  This class is designed to encourage learning basic garment construction.  Cost:  $30 if supplies are purchased at RYCO,  otherwise $50.00      Sign up!

WEE TWO UNIVERSITY

Mrs. Love specializes in teaching young children to sew.  She left the academic classroom and now spends her fun time passing on her love of sewing to the new generation.  She is an extremely gifted sewer and the children are mesmerized by her.
